Great Dane Show Ranking for show season 2011

General rules:

Ranking is for Great Danes registered in Polish Kennel Club only and it's aim is to select the mostly prized Danes in this show season.

1. Ranking enclose show season from 1.I to 31.XII .

2. Ranking has division for sex (two main categories: male and female) by criteria:
a) colour by CACIB obtaining rules:
- black and harlequin,
- fawn and brindle,
- blue;

b) age category:
- young Danes - qualifications from junior class
- adult Danes - qualifications from intermediate, open and champion class (only dogs over 15 months old).
Every dane can take part in both age categories if his age fits both fixed limits. Owner decides about it.

Dogs from veteran class are separate category.

3. Only dogs with excellent grade can take part in rank. Very good grade could be allowed if obtained in youth class and only in country where its the highest grade for this class.

4. Minimum 4 and maximum 12 obtained results (Judge's report sheets) can be registered for each age group. It's owner decision which results.

5. Official results will be shown once a year at Polish Great Dane Club web page at the end of March.

6. Dane which at the show in Poland will be FIRST before 10 or more competitors in his class, PRESENT on the show, will gain 20 more points.

7. Danes winning first places in their categories by gaining most points will be awarded by title Best Adult/Best young Great Dane (i.a. Best Young Great Dane in category Blue 2011) and will be gifted with Diploma.

8. The Dane who obtains highest number of points among all participants will be awarded with title of WINNER. (np. WINNER OF GREAT DANE RANKING - BEST GREAT DANE 2011) and will be gifted with diploma and challenge cup. If next year this Dane will be awarded with same title the cup will became his own. The ceremony of diplomas and cup presentation will take place during next Club Show.

9. Registration with all judging raports should be send before 15th February 2012 year

Results were published in first for 2012 issue of Great Dane Club bulletin and are presented on the web page of Club. Winners were shown at Polish Great Dane Club web page and were awarded with diplomas and small gifts during 2012 Great Dane Club Show in Poland.
