At the beginning of the year Great Danes base in Poland has again been started.

To the database are added only dogs who have reached 12 months. As far, information are collected only about black, harlequin and blue danes.
Information are collected by Claudia Karlowicz (klaudia@greatdane.pl).
The database is run as a hobby so please be tolerant to the rate of dogs adding.

WHAT'S NEW IN KENNEL: Last weekend we visited international dog show in Brno (The Czech Republic) We brought back a gold medal :)

and with the new title of MARCELLO Moloseum - Czech Junior Champion :D

WHAT'S NEW IN KENNEL: According to announcement today we sum up the Marcello's show season 2009 ... but apart of that we would like to boast with other result:

MARCELLO Moloseum had his hip and albow joints x-rayed. The result of HD A/A and ED 0/0 was added to his pedigree :). On 12 of February he reaches 18 months and will be officially added to list of stud males.

WHAT'S NEW IN KENNEL We started new show season and there is still no summary of the previous one :)...
Today I would like to present our successes with MANTEUFEL Saxifraga during 2009 season. Maybe it was not a very rich in show journeys year but fruited in obtaining a interchampion title what made us very happy :D.
This title is a nice completion to Maneufel's show career and it is time to sum up it because he will appear sporadically on the show rings.

DOG SHOW CALENDAR: updates in Calendar 2010. Another this year results from dog shows in : Głogów (Poland), Trencin (Slovakia) and Kaunas (Lithuania).
Updates in Calendar 2009. There appeared lists of dogs with results from dog show in:
Dublin - European Dog Show (Ireland), Senec and Nitra (Slovakia), Neumunster (Germany), Kaunas ans Marijampole (Lithuania), Sibiu - Saturday and Sibiu - Sunday (Rumunia), Klagenfurt (Austria), Klatovy and Brno (Czech Republic).
In file Calendar another List of judges. This time Belorussians, Slovenian and Croats. Next time will be Russians.

I would like to remind of the ceremony of giving diplomas and gifts to all participants in competitions Polish Great Dane Derby 2009 and Polish Great Dane League - Europe 2009. It will take place on 27.03.2010 during International Dog Show in Katowice (Poland). Will take place in the Great Danes ring half an hour before the start of judging (9.30).

According to the announcement there came a list of competitions PDDN and PLDN for the show season 2010. In addition, there is Aggregate results from the Polish Great Dane Derby and Polish Great Dane League - Europe. The statement will show the results of the dogs involved in competitions in future seasons of exhibition contests in which they are held. It breaks down the results into five color groups (black, harlequin, fawn, brindle and blue). If the dog get some results (in subsequent years) in the same age group, could see only the most will be scored. Currently the list includes, of course, only the 2009 show season ... I hope that in time it will fill up more :).

The rules for breeding competition, have been tightened in rules for this year's competitions.

There is also a new file, which will soon appear on the panel. It is called From Ring where you can find up to date recorded important successes of polish dog on the dog show rings. Those from the polish kennel (living in Poland and abroad) as well as imported and owned by Poles. Although this is just first show weekend we have the first dog on the list, and it is MOONSHINE Balao (Casper) :).

Updates in Calendar 2010, have been supplemented by missing the last two months of November and December, and a lot of amendments and supplements from the preceding months. The first results from this year's dog show: Olomouc (Czech Republic).

Unfortunately I have two days delay in results publishing, Once again I see I need someone to help me in this competition. I am very happy because as I wrote earlier from this year, Krzystof Sawicki owner of CABRIEL Mały Smok will help me.
In the same time we will sum up the Polish Great Dane Derby 2009 and Polish Great Dane League - Europe 2009.

Two females who performed best in those competitions are:
	MICHELLE MA BELLE Balao owners Anna Pyziak, Magdalena Ślusarczyk	PISANKA Arhus owner Alicja Mech

Both achieved highest score (522p) in PGDL - Europa 2009 competition,
and also MICHELLE MA BELLE Balao achieved highest score (448p)
in PGDD 2009 competition .

It was definitely a woman rank :). Congratulation to both females and their owners.

Despite strong winter which made traveling difficult we managed to start our new show season :). MARCELLO Moloseum came back from national dog show in Olomouc with result I/2 excellent and another CAJC from Czech Republic... so to be a Czech junior champion we need only one CAJC.

In the meantime we say goodbye to junior class so it is time to put lacking Marcello diplomas to web page: Junior Champion of Lithuania and Hungary.

Greeting in new year :) ... there is a lot of data to be put on my web page. I will fill it in time.
A the beginning I would like to inform that the final list of results PDDN and PLDN - Europe 2009 will appear at 11th January on web page.
I am happy to inform that at International Dog Show in Katowice there will small celebration. Diplomas and small memorable gift will be gifted to all participants of competitions. I invite you to take part in that.
